Flying Mangrove Monday 13th June

At last flying conditions are favourable with light Southerly winds, and with no rain for over a week the strip will be dry enough (with care). There will still be some patches to avoid.

Both Winch Launching and Self Launch Glider Flights will be on today.

Back to Flying

After a very long bout of no flying due to rain and the unusable wet strip, we expect to be flying again this Sunday 30th October as the strip should have dried out sufficiently for use with caution.

Hi Graeme Hope you all get in a nice flying day. Certainly has been a poor period lately for the Club due to wet weather. No doubt some Members have nevertheless been busy keeping the Club afloat ( pardon the pun) with necessary maintenance work . Hoping that the weather allows for the Gloucester Camp to go ahead. Ron
